SONIC Students win Best in Session at TECHCON 2017

AUSTIN, Texas – September 12, 2017 – SRC awarded SONIC students Connor J. McClellan, Stanford (advised by Eric Pop); Charbel Sakr, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (advised by Naresh Shanbhag); and Tiffany Moy, Princeton (advised by Naveen Verma) Best in Session Awards for their SONIC research.

McClellan received Best in Session in the 2-D and TMD Materials and Devices I session for his work entitled "Effective n-type Doping of Monolayer MoS2 by AlO(x)".  Sakr received Best in Session in the Neural System Design session for his work entitled “Analytical Guarantees on Numerical Precision of Deep Neural Networks”. Moy received Best in Session in the Brain-Inspired System Architectures session for her work entitled “Hybrid Large-Area Sensing System Architectures for Broader Information Encoding”.  Congratulations!
