Theme 4: Nanofunctions

Objective

The Nanofunctions theme (N² theme) will accelerate the deployment of beyond-CMOS nanoscale fabric. It will do so by modeling, designing, fabricating, and testing functional blocks and functional primitives needed by future statistical information processing systems. The N² theme places a unique emphasis on design of nanofunctions and nanoprimitives, rather than on pure device research with its focus on a deterministic Boolean switch.
