Brooke Newell received her B.S. and MPH degrees from University of Illinois Springfield in 2004 and 2010, respectively. Brooke joined University of Illinois Urbana Champaign in April 2013, where she is both the Program Coordinator for SONIC and the Curriculum Coordinator for the Technology Entrepreneurship Center in the College of Engineering. Previously, Brooke worked as a research program coordinator for Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in the Department of Orthopaedics, where she facilitated the active research of medical students, residents, fellows, and faculty and served as the study coordinator for an NIH-sponsored clinical trial.
